Alex Trebek turned 68 years old yesterday! Happy Birthday, Alex Trebek, you super star! For your 68th birthday, you should grow your mustache back.

• He is Canadian-born, in Ontario and his given name is Georgi Suka-Alex Trebek.
• He hosted several other gameshows prior to Jeopardy, including on called "Wizard of Odds".
• His favorite number is 12.
• He really likes that SNL sketch... you know the one!
• He likes to drink wine and collect wine. (Mom and Dad, you should hang out with him!)
• He used to be a garbage man.
• Once he and Pat Sajak did an April Fools' joke where they switcherood and Alex hosted Wheel of Fortune. (I bet Wheel of Fortune totally ruled that day and Jeopardy did not. Did Vanna switch too?)
• He shaved off his mustache in 2001. (I do not understand why.)
• He has had cameos in the Simpsons, SNL, The X-Files, Cheers, and- one of my all times favorites, The Golden Girls!
